MILTON, Mass. — The Endicott softball team wrapped up its 2025 regular season campaign with a Conference of New England (CNE) sweep at Curry on Saturday afternoon.
GAME ONE: ENDICOTT 4, CURRY 0
WP (9-2): Kristen Beebe (Brentwood, N.H.) — 7 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 6 K
LP (12-6): Jillian Rogers (East Freetown, Mass.) — 7 IP, 4 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 14 K
Despite fanning 14 times, the Gulls' lineup broke through against Curry's ace in the fifth inning of a scoreless pitching duel. Abby McClaflin (Easthapton, Mass.) broke the deadlock with a two-run double in the fifth.
Then, Ella Tower (Windham, N.H.) and Kyla Story (Salisbury, Mass.) both drilled RBI doubles in the sixth to put the Gulls up 4-0.
That was all the run support Beebe needed in her dominant outing from the circle.
She tossed her third shutout of the season while whiffing six Colonels en route to the victory.
GAME TWO: ENDICOTT 7, CURRY 4
WP (6-6): Jaylin Couto (Taunton, Mass.) — 4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 K
LP (0-6): Jennelle Muñoz (Lake Elsinore, Calif.) — 1 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 0 K
Trailing 1-0 in the top of the third, the visitor Gulls posted a three spot on the board to take the lead on the Colonels. Chloe Shapleigh (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Paige Berdos (Plainville, Mass.) combined to drive in the three runs on doubles.
The lead was short-lived, however, as the Colonels reclaimed a 4-3 lead with three runs of their own in the bottom of the third.
Then, Shapleigh launched a solo shot in the fifth to tie things up at four apiece.
Later in the frame, the Blue and Green rallied to load up the bases, and ended up plating three more runs on a Riley Gamache (Litchfield, N.H.) RBI hit-by-pitch, a run-scoring wild pitch, and a Christina Nowicki (Chelsea, Mass.) RBI groundout.
Couto handled things from there, as she shut down the Colonels' bats with a nearly perfect four-inning relief outing to close out the 7-4 road win.

- The Gulls lead the all-time series with a record of 53-4-1.
