Gilbert Named NEWVA Co-Player of the Year; Four Gulls Garner All-Region Recognition

BEVERLY, Mass. - The New England Women's Volleyball Association (NEWVA) released its All-Region honors earlier this month, and Endicott saw four members garner recognition, highlighted by Amanda Gilbert (Hopkinton, Mass.), who was named Co-Player of the Year. Gilbert was also named NEWVA All-New England First Team, a distinction that was also bestowed upon Colleen McAvoy (Coventry, Conn.). Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) and Ella Koelb (Auburn, N.H.) also received Honorable Mention recognition for their efforts this fall.

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — The Endicott women's volleyball team saw its season come to a close on Thursday afternoon, falling to Salisbury by a 3-0 final. The Endicott Gulls fell by set scores of 25-16, 27-25 and 25-23 to end the season at 22-9.

CCC CHAMPIONSHIP: Women's Volleyball Completes Three-Peat in 3-0 Sweep of Gordon

WENHAM, Mass. - The second-seeded Endicott women's volleyball team claimed its third straight Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title with an emphatic 3-0 sweep of cross-town rival Gordon on the road on Saturday afternoon. The Gulls won by set scores of 25-20, 25-18 and 25-22 to improve to 22-8 overall as they now await the NCAA DIII Tournament selection show which is set for Monday at 1 PM. The CCC title represents Endicott's third straight, fifth in the last six seasons.

Gilbert, Ruel and Sanborn Sweep Weekly CCC Honors

BEVERLY, Mass. - Following a 4-0 week for the Endicott women's volleyball team, a trio of Gulls swept the weekly Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) honors, as was announced by the conference office earlier today. For their performances on the week, Amanda Gilbert (West Falmouth, Mass.), Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) and Kelsey Sanborn (Londonderry, N.H.) were named Player of the Week, Libero of the Week and Rookie of the Week, respectively.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Endicott women's volleyball team claimed the MIT Invitational Title on Saturday after knocking off AVCA nationally ranked No. 10 MIT 3-1, and sweeping Keene St. 3-0 to go 3-0 on the weekend. The wins improved Endicott to 5-0 on the season as the Gulls defeated MIT 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 25-22 and Keene St. 25-13, 25-20, 25-14.

Endicott Takes Down Bowdoin 3-1

BEVERLY, Mass. - In a back-and-forth affair that pitted two of the top teams in the region against each other early in the season, the Endicott women's volleyball team took down Bowdoin 3-1 in the friendly confines of the MacDonald Gymnasium on Friday night. The win sees Endicott improve to 3-0 on the young season, while Bowdoin falls to 1-1. Set scores for the match were 25-22, 23-25, 25-23, 25-15.

Gulls Sweep Sharks to Improve to 2-0

BEVERLY, Mass. - The MacDonald Gymnasium played host to a non-conference women's volleyball match between Endicott and Simmons on Wednesday night, and it was the host Gulls that picked up the 3-0 sweep of the Sharks to improve to 2-0 on the young season.

BEVERLY, Mass. - The Endicott women's volleyball team posted a 3-0 sweep of WPI on Thursday night to open the 2022 campaign, winning by scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-15.
