
Women’s Track & Field Wraps Up Day Two At New England D3 Outdoor Championship
NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Endicott women's track and field team concluded competition at the New England D3 Outdoor Championship on Saturday evening at Coast Guard.
NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Endicott women's track and field team concluded competition at the New England D3 Outdoor Championship on Saturday evening at Coast Guard.
Abby Griffith (Franklin, Mass.) and Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) highlighted the squad with school record/personal best performances.
Griffith shattered her mark in the triple jump with a distance of 36-5.75 (previous record, 35-2.50, 4/26/25) for 12th place out of 26 competitors.
Meanwhile, Risko finished sixth overall (19 entrees) in the 800m run (2:15.87), surpassing her time in the event by nearly two seconds (previous record, 2:18.03, 4/4/25).
Risko also ranked 15th overall in the 1,500m run with a time of 4:40.40, just missing out on another school record (previous record, Risko, 4:39.71, 4/19/25).
Aside from her impressive double, Risko was the only distance runner to qualify for the 800m, 1,500m, 5,000m, and 10,000m events at the New England D3 Outdoor Championship.
