    QUINCY, Mass.- The Endicott women’s soccer team took to the road for their regular season finale on Tuesday night, traveling to Quincy, Mass., and came out on the wrong end of a 3-0 decision to fall to 6-2-1 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play and 10-4-4 overall. With the 6-2-1 record, Endicott has earned the #2 seed in the upcoming CCC tournament and will play host to #7 Wentworth who finished with a 3-5-1 record in CCC play, and a 8-8-2 record overall. Match time is still to be determined.

    QUINCY, Mass.- The Endicott women's soccer team took to the road for their regular season finale on Tuesday night, traveling to Quincy, Mass., and came out on the wrong end of a 3-0 decision to fall to 6-2-1 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play and 10-4-4 overall.  With the 6-2-1 record, Endicott has earned the #2 seed in the upcoming CCC tournament and will play host to #7 Wentworth who finished with a 3-5-1 record in CCC play, and a 8-8-2 record overall. Match time is still to be determined.

    The Gulls entered the match riding a five match unbeaten streak that would fall to an Eastern Nazarene squad that has now won three straight to improve to 9-9 overall and 6-3 in CCC play.  With the 6-3 record, the Lions have earned the #3 seed and will play host to #6 Western New England at 11:00 a.m. 

    Endicott was led by junior LeeAnn Card (Paxton, Mass.) who finished the match with three shots, one of which was on goal.  As a team, the Gulls recorded 14 total shots, but just two were on frame as Eastern Nazarene keeper Kristen Farley (Westminster, Mass.) made two saves on the night to claim her fifth shutout of the season.  Endicott keeper Katie Donnelly (Madison, Conn.) allowed three goals on five shots on goal, making two saves in the setback.

    Eastern Nazarene was led by Jules Speno (Hopewell Junction, Vt.) who notched a match high three points after recording a goal and an assist in the victory.  Speno assisted on Hannah Scahill's (Quaker Hill, Conn.) seventh goal of the year in the 70th minute before tallying an unassisted goal in the 80th minute, her fourth of the year.  The scoring was started in the 36th minute when Katherine Lawrence (Marlborough, Conn.) scored her third of the season off a rebound from Kelly Couite's (West Bridgewater, Mass.) shot to give the Lions a 1-0 lead, one that they would never relinquish.

    Endicott, the reigning CCC champions from 2013, will find out tomorrow evening what time they will play host to Wentworth as the men's side still has two matches remaining to settle seedings.  The Gulls are now 10-4-4 (6-2-1 CCC) on the season and look ahead to Saturday as another CCC playoff push begins.
