Community Service

In high school, she was a member of From the Ground Up, a social activist group for food insecurity in our community. She helped educate the public, volunteered at places like Foodshare, and hosted community dinners for upwards of 300 people. They also traveled to New Orleans to speak on a panel at the One World Everyone Eats annual summit, where we were able to show our model and plan for a Community Kitchen/Cafe in Granby. While at Endicott, she and the lacrosse team have delivered leftovers from the college's dining hall to homeless shelters in Beverly, Mass.
