Bio
Why Endicott? Why Division III?
Alexa chose Endicott because she wanted to find a school that was big enough to create its own community yet small enough to offer close communications between professors and students. She found that in Endicott along with the real-world experience and resume-building that they incorporate into student's academics. Furthermore, the location is prime with Boston only a train ride away and many rich and historic towns surrounding the area.

Alexa has volunteered for The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter, American Heart Association, Feed My Starving Children.
Professional Aspirations
Alexa has completed her semester internship at Collins Middle School. She has also completed an internship as an Assistant Teacher at Hannah Beardsley Middle School. Her duties included: making copies/getting supplies, helping students understand notes and answer homework, observing my supervisor’s lessons and discussions in board meetings, and creating a three-day mathematic escape room activity for all the 7th-grade math teachers.

"The internship that I completed at Hannah Beardsley Middle School has confirmed my interest in becoming a teacher by allowing me to experience the routine of a teacher and see how they affect the education of students."
In 10 years, she sees herself with a stable teaching career and home, and possibly locally coaching a youth girls hockey team.
