CCC CHAMPIONSHIP: Women’s Cross Country Places Fifth Overall At Conference Meet
BIDDEFORD, Maine – Behind an All-Conference performance from freshman Emma Farrington (Essex Junction, Vt.), the Endicott women’s cross country team placed fifth overall out of eight teams at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships on Saturday afternoon.
BIDDEFORD, Maine – Behind an All-Conference performance from freshman Emma Farrington (Essex Junction, Vt.), the Endicott women's cross country team placed fifth overall out of eight teams at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships on Saturday afternoon.
Host University of New England captured its sixth straight conference title with a score of 44 points, while Gordon finished in a close second place with 59 points. Salve Regina followed in third (66), while Roger Williams was fourth (82), and Endicott ranked fifth (132). Rounding out the remaining teams were Western New England (137), Nichols (229), and Curry (246), in that exact order.
Individually, Farrington finished eighth overall on the 6.1-kilometer course with a time of 25:03.0. Lauren Tocci (Shamong, N.J.) was second on the squad with her time of 26:33.8 (26th overall), while Haley Marek (Westhampton, Mass.), Hannah Mason (Deerfield, N.H.), and Brooke Robishaw (Ipswich, Mass.) all followed in 34th (27:15.0), 42nd (27:47.8), and 44th (28:00.5), respectively.

- Farrington is Endicott's first All-Conference honoree since 2014 (Erin Haynes).

Endicott returns to action on Saturday, November 11 at the NCAA Division III New England Regionals held in Gorham, Maine at the Gorham Country Club.
