Endicott, Eastern Connecticut State Play To 0-0 Double Overtime Tie

MANSFIELD, Conn. – The Endicott women's soccer team played to a 0-0 double overtime tie on Wednesday night against Eastern Connecticut State in non-conference action at the Mansfield Athletic Complex.

Caroline Armbruster (Stowe, Vt.) highlighted play for the Gulls with a season-high nine saves, including three combined between both overtime sessions.

Endicott's best chance to find the game-winner in overtime came in the 97th minute when Sharlotte Pernice's (West Springfield, Mass.) header attempt was thwarted by Warriors' goalkeeper Kayla Labrecque (Westhampton, Mass.).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

• Armbruster now has three clean sheets on the season.
• Endicott is 1-0-1 in the all-time series versus Eastern Connecticut State, which dates back to October 7, 2015.
• The Gulls recorded six shots in tonight's contest, and five of them were on goal.
• Pernice led the visitors in shots with two total (one on net).
• Endicott is 2-0-1 in its last three games.

FOR THE FOES

• Labrecque stopped five shots to record her third shutout of the year.
• Emily Becher (Brooklyn, Conn.) paced the Warriors with three shots on goal.
