BEVERLY, Mass. — Riding high off of a 1-0 win against No. 12 nationally ranked Wesleyan on Saturday, the Bowdoin men's soccer team bested the Endicott men's soccer team, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.
After a back-and-forth first 43 minutes of play, the Polar Bears were able to cash in on a corner kick opportunity to go up 1-0 just before the end of the first half.
They quickly added some insurance early in the second half (52nd minute), and continued to add pressure throughout the rest of the matchup.
The Gulls were unable to mount much pressure of their own, and the Polar Bears successfully closed out their road win, and added insult to injury via a penalty kick goal with just a few minutes remaining.
After missing the last four contests, Brady O'Toole (Concord, Mass.) returned to action on Sunday. He picked up four saves in his return.
