BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2025 season on Friday evening at Hempstead Stadium. The Gulls fell 1-0 to Roger Williams in the Conference of New England (CNE) opener.
After a scoreless first half in which the Gulls outshot the Hawks 10-3, it was the visitors who found the back of the net first in the contest.
Dylan Thomas (Norwalk, Conn.) controlled a loose ball in the Endicott defensive zone, made a nifty move, and then sent a rocket into the lower left side of the net to put the Hawks in front in the 57th minute.
The Gulls were unable to find a game-equalizer in the final 33 minutes of play, and ultimately fell to the Hawks by a 1-0 final score.
Brady O'Toole (Concord, Mass.) dropped to 2-1-0 on the season despite his season-high five saves (.833 save percentage).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Gulls are 9-3 against the Hawks dating back to 2015.
- First regular season conference home loss for Endicott since 9/23/23 (4-1 loss to Suffolk).
