BEVERLY, Mass. — Senior Forward Evan Couchot (Mason, Ohio) netted a hat trick to lead the Endicott men's soccer team to a 3-0 win over Western New England (WNE) Wednesday night, at Hempstead Stadium.
Couchot made it 1-0 from the penalty spot in the 11th minute after he drew a foul inside the box.
His second tally came when he found the end of a Matthew Cronin (Glastonbury, Conn.) cross with his head. Couchot headed it across the goalmouth and into the bottom left corner to make it 2-0.
Meanwhile, his third also came from the penalty spot after Alex Vuksta (Hudson, Ohio) stole the ball and fed Couchout with a through ball. Couchot then again drew a foul inside the box and slotted the PK home from the spot to give the Gulls a 3-0 lead.
