Second Half Surge Propels Men’s Lacrosse Past Colorado College, 20-8

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Colorado College, 20-8, on Thursday night at Hempstead Stadium.
After giving up the opening tally in the third quarter (8-6 lead), the Gulls potted 12 unanswered goals — spanning from 11:07 of the third to 5:15 of the fourth — to run away with the non-conference victory.
Cam Fernandez (Mendham, N.J.) paced the offense with four goals and two assists. His goals and points totals both served as game-highs.
Brody MacDonald (Hanson, Mass.) and Tommy Tyksinski (Guilderland, N.Y.) also registered hat tricks, while Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), Colt Green (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.), Manny Marshall (Chelmsford, Mass.), and Dillon Moriarty (Wilbraham, Mass.) found the back of the net twice.
Jack Daoust (Westport, Mass.) and Matt Wright (Oregon City, Ore.) rounded out the attack with solo tallies.
In goal, Teagan Alexander (Foxboro, Mass.) improved to 4-2 overall with an eight-save effort in the first half (seventh start this season). Christopher Tillotson (Monroe, Conn.) stopped six shots over the final 30 minutes.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott evened the all-time series at 2-2 (won last two, 2-0 at home).
- The Gulls have scored 20 or more goals in seven straight contests.
- Colorado College's road schedule this season has included games in Ohio (2), Kentucky, and Massachusetts.
- Endicott held the Tigers scoreless for 20:52 in the second half.
- Wyatt Iantosca (Hopkinton, Mass.) made his first career start and posted a game-high/career-high four caused turnovers.
- Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.) went 18-for-24 at the faceoff X (ninth straight game with 15 or more faceoff wins; also had 12 ground balls).

Endicott (11-3) visits Curry on Saturday at 2 PM. Colorado College (7-6) travels to UMass Boston this Saturday at 10:30 AM.
