Men’s Lacrosse Pulls Away From UNE, 15-9
BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Endicott men’s lacrosse team defeated the University of New England (UNE), 15-9, in conference action on Wednesday night at the UNE Blue Bolt Field.

BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated the University of New England (UNE), 15-9, in conference action on Wednesday night at the UNE Blue Bolt Field.
Endicott's offense featured seven different goal scorers, highlighted by hat-tricks from Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.), Mike Sudora (Monroe, Conn.), and Neal Parry (Marshfield, Mass.).
The Gulls also received two-goal games from Will Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) and Andrew Soucy (Andover, Mass.) and solo tallies via Matthew Faucher (Western Springs, Ill.) and A.J. MacDonald (New Fairfield, Conn.).
Tied 5-5 late in the second quarter, Endicott pulled away from the Nor'easters with three unanswered goals to end the half via Sutherland (4:27, 00:14) and MacDonald (3:12). From there, the Gulls outscored UNE 7-4 in the second half to claim their third straight victory.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott improved to 26-2 all-time against UNE.
- The Gulls have won the last seven meetings versus the Nor'easters.
- Sutherland also had two assists in tonight's game to give him his third game this season with five or more points.
- Patrick Dean (Westhampton, N.Y.) made 13 saves to improve to 9-7 on the year (fourth straight contest with 10 or more saves).
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (9-7, 7-1 CCC) has earned the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament and will host No. 7 seeded Wentworth this Saturday, April 27 at 1 PM. UNE sees its 2019 season come to a close at 7-10 overall and 2-6 in league play.
