Men’s Golf Finishes 13th Overall At Duke Nelson Invitational
MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Endicott men's golf team placed 13th overall out of 20 teams at the Duke Nelson Invitational this weekend, hosted by Middlebury College at the Ralph Myre Golf Course.
The Gulls produced a team score of 614 (306-308), ranking ahead of seven teams within their region.
Myles O'Quinn (Durham, N.H.) led the charge for Endicott with an eighth place finish by carding a total of 147, +5 (72-75, par 71).
O'Quinn ended his first round in third place, starting strong with two straight birdies (4, Par 5-548 yards | 3, Par 4-364 yards) before finishing the front nine at even par (35). O'Quinn capped off day one with an impressive score of 72, +1.
Hadyn Kornusky (Topsfield, Mass.) cracked the top-50 out of a field of 106 golfers with a 46th place finish (tied, 77-78, 155).
Connor LaCross (Upton, Mass.), Spencer White (Litchfield, Conn.), and Oliver Watson (New Paltz, N.Y.) rounded out the scorecards for the Blue and Green by finishing 54th (tied, 77-79, 156), 54th (tied, 80-76, 156), and 93rd (tied, 85-81, 166).
BEYOND THE SCORECARD
- O'Quinn posted his personal best score at Ralph Myre Golf Course with his first round of 72.
- Endicott got the best of Conference of New England (CNE) opponents Western New England (16th, 320-309, 629) and Suffolk (19th, 328-325, 653).
- The Gulls posted a total of 17 birdies throughout the weekend.

Endicott will compete in the Bowdoin Invitational from September 27-28 in Brunswick, Maine at the Brunswick Golf Club.
