Baseball Named NCAA D3 Statistical Champion For Runs Per Game
BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott baseball program has been named the 2025 Division III statistical champion for runs per game, according to the final NCAA National Rankings.
The Gulls averaged 10.8 runs per game in 51 games played (45-6 overall | 550 runs) this season.
Five other teams averaged 10.0 runs per game or more, including national champion Wisconsin-Whitewater (10.3), Spalding (10.3), Rowan (10.3), Haverford (10.1), and Johns Hopkins (10.0).
Endicott also posted top-5 rankings in the following categories: ERA (4th, 3.13), hit by pitch (2nd, 152), hits (3rd, 599), hits allowed per nine innings (5th, 7.63), home runs (5th, 74), runs (2nd, 550), sacrifice flies (1st, 54), shutouts (3rd, 7), WHIP (4th, 1.21), win-loss percentage (3rd, .882).
YEAR IN REVIEW
The Gulls posted a 45-6 overall record with a perfect 16-0 record in league play.
Endicott also recorded its second consecutive unbeaten season at home, extending the winning streak to 55 games.
Coach Haley's squad also appeared in its third consecutive College World Series, which is the longest active streak in Division III.
The Gulls reached the NCAA Semifinal round for the first time in program history, and became the second program to do so in Endicott Athletics team varsity history.
