Layo Named CHC Player of the Week

BEVERLY, MA. – Endicott women's ice hockey student-athlete Maggie Layo (Sandwich, Mass.) was named Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

CHC WEEKLY AWARD RELEASE

BEVERLY, MA. – Endicott women's ice hockey student-athlete Maggie Layo (Sandwich, Mass.) was named Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday. 

Layo netted two goals during a 5-1 Endicott victory against Wesleyan (Conn.) on Friday, Dec. 8. She tallied the Gulls' first and fifth goal of the game, with the fifth goal coming on the power play. This is Layo's second CHC Player of the Week honor of the season, as she also was selected on Nov. 27. 

WHAT'S NEXT

The Gulls host Plymouth State on Saturday, Dec. 16 for a 3 p.m. nonconference matchup.
