NEW LONDON, Conn. — The Endicott women's basketball team defeated Coast Guard, 80-77, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at Roland Gymnasium.
Sarah Dempsey (Windham, N.H.) scored a game-high 22 points to pace the Gulls.
Emily St. Thomas (Sterling, Mass.) also contributed 19 points, while Tara Laugeni (Woodbridge, Conn.) and Taylor Bogdanski (Saugus, Mass.) finished with 13 and 12, respectively.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Gulls evened the all-time series at 4-4.
- Endicott has won the last three meetings versus Coast Guard (11/18/18, W, 71-62 | 12/8/21, W, 87-85 OT).
- St. Thomas tied her career-high for points.

Endicott (1-0) hosts Springfield on Wednesday, November 16 at 7 PM. Coast Guard (1-1) travels to RPI next Wednesday at 5 PM.
