BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw against St. Joseph's (Me.) on Friday night at Hempstead Stadium in front of an electric crowd of 2,000 fans in the first game back for the Gulls in nearly two years.

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw against St. Joseph's (Me.) on Friday night at Hempstead Stadium in front of an electric crowd of 2,000 fans in the first game back for the Gulls in nearly two years.
Down 1-0 about midway through the second half, Ryan Archer (Newburyport, Mass.) was able to find the back of the net by one-timing a corner kick from Joe Mepham (Sudbury, Mass.) to even up the contest at the 67:04 mark.
Meanwhile, freshman goalkeeper Kyle Rosa (Norton, Mass.) made a combined five saves from the second half on to aid the Gulls to the draw. Rosa finished his debut with eight total saves on the night.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Gulls outshot the Monks 18-17.
- Endicott is 8-3-1 all-time against St. Joseph's (Me.).
- Archer netted his first collegiate goal, while Mepham notched his first career assists in the tie.
