Five Gulls Earn IMLCA All-Region Honors
BEVERLY, Mass. — Five members of the Endicott men's lacrosse team have received postseason honors from the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA).
BEVERLY, Mass. — Five members of the Endicott men's lacrosse team have received postseason honors from the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA).
Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.), Guerin Favreau (Woodstock Valley, Conn.), and Cam Fernandez (Mendham, N.J.) highlighted the group being named to the All-Region Second Team.
Along with those three, Matt Cawley (Westwood, Mass.) and Nick DiSalvo (Narragansett, R.I.) collected Honorable Mention accolades at their respective positions.
This is the second consecutive All-Region honor for Barker and Favreau, while Cawley, DiSalvo, and Fernandez all earned All-Region recognition for the first time in their careers.
With five members on the All-Region teams, Endicott was tied for third amongst teams in Region 1 with student-athletes represented and second-most honorees in program history.
The First, Second, and Honorable Mention teams are selected in the following amounts,: 3 Attack, 3 Midfield, 3 Defense, 1 Goalie, 1 Short-Stick Defensive Midfielder, 1 Long-Stick Midfielder, and 1 Face-off.
YEAR IN REVIEW
Endicott went 15-4 overall and 8-0 in league play.
The Gulls repeated as conference champions defeating Wentworth, 17-5 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament before falling to No. 17 Amherst, 12-11.
