CNE SEMIFINALS: No. 1 Endicott Stymies No. 5 Western New England, 27-12
BEVERLY, Mass. — The first-seeded Endicott men’s lacrosse team defeated fifth-seeded Western New England, 27-12, in the Conference of New England (CNE) Semifinals on Wednesday night at Hempstead Stadium.

Colt Green (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.), Tommy Tyksinski (Guilderland, N.Y.), and Curtis Redd (Amherst, N.H.) potted four goals each to lead the Gulls.
Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) produced a hat trick on the scoring ledger, while Guerin Favreau (Woodstock Valley, Conn.) and Manny Marshall (Chelmsford, Mass.) added two tallies apiece.
Endicott also received solo tallies from Jack Matthews (Ayer, Mass.), Rex Bruschi (North Attleboro, Mass.), Brody MacDonald (Hanson, Mass.), Jack Fiorillo (Mineola, N.Y.), Matt Wright (Oregon City, Ore.), Cam Fernandez (Mendham, N.J.), Donovan Devellis (Norfolk, Mass.), and Travis Foster (Lyman, Maine).
Christopher Tillotson (Monroe, Conn.), who received the start in goal, made seven saves on 21 shots faced (four goals allowed) to earn his ninth win of the season (9-1).
Teagan Alexander (Foxboro, Mass.) played the third quarter (four saves), while Zachary Licavoli (East Setauket, N.Y.) finished out the final stanza (eight saves).
At the faceoff X, Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.) went 20-for-28 (.714) with 14 ground balls, both game-highs.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 17-18 all-time against the Golden Bears (winners of four straight).
- The Gulls defeated Western New England 23-7 in their regular season matchup (12-2 halftime).
- Tyksinski compiled a career-high seven points (4g, 3a).
- Redd registered career-highs for goals (4) and points (5).
- Endicott is 9-1 at home this season.
- Nine different student-athletes caused a turnover for the Gulls; Jesse Woodill (Forestdale, Mass.), Jack Dagata (Branford, Conn.), and Nick DiSalvo (Narragansett, R.I.) led the group with two each.
WHAT'S NEXT
First-seeded Endicott (14-3) hosts second-seeded Wentworth in the CNE Championship on Saturday, May 3 (time TBD). Western New England sees its season come to a close at 9-10 overall.
