No. 38 Men’s Golf Positioned Second Overall After Day One At CNE Championship
MARBLEHEAD, Mass. — No. 38 Endicott is ranked second overall at the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship following Tuesday’s first round action at the Tedesco CC (par 70 — 6,448 yards).

Gordon holds a one-stroke (+18, 298) edge over Endicott (+19, 299) in the team standings.
Roger Williams (+24, 304), Hartford (+28, 308), Suffolk (+37, 317), Western New England (+40, 320), Nichols (+48, 328), Wentworth (+60, 340), and the University of New England (+64, 344) comprise the rest of the field.
The Gulls have three student-athletes ranked inside the top-10, including Tyler Baker (Falmouth, Maine), Will Pierce (Melrose, Mass.), and Myles O'Quinn (Durham, N.H.).
Baker sits in second place (+3, 70), one shot behind the tournament leader from Gordon.
Pierce is tied for third (+4, 74), while O'Quinn is tied for fifth (+5, 75) in the field of 45 golfers.
Brady Burke (Bedford, N.H.) and Hadyn Kornusky (Topsfield, Mass.) rounded out day one for Endicott in 11th (tied, +7, 77) and 19th (tied, +8, 78) place, respectively.
BEYOND THE SCORECARD
- Baker and Burke are ranked No. 90 and No. 125 nationally in D3.
- The Gulls lead the tournament with 11 birdies.
- Endicott ranks second in par 3s (+6) and par 4s (+20).
