BREWSTER, Mass. — The Endicott men’s golf team shot a tournament record 7-under par to break an 89-year-old scoring record and win its first-ever New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship over the weekend, hosted by the Captains Golf Club (par 72 — 6,607 yards).

Endicott lapped the field with a 37-shot victory (288-281, 569) over Bates and Husson (+30), while Conference of New England (CNE) foes Hartford (+31) and Roger Williams (+32) followed suit in fourth and fifth.
Individually, Brady Burke (Bedford, N.H.) and Will Pierce (Melrose, Mass.) needed a 3-hole playoff to decide who would take top honors among the 112-player field.
Ultimately, Burke earned individual medalist honors over Pierce, but the duo shot 5-under (68-71, 139 | 72-67, 139) to pace the Gulls.
Tyler Baker (Falmouth, Maine) ranked fourth (E, 72-72, 144), while Hadyn Kornusky (Topsfield, Mass.) and Myles O'Quinn (Durham, N.H.) tied for ninth (+5, 76-73, 149 | +5, 78-71, 149)
